What's the best way to store my chocolate?
We'd like to think our candies are so good you won't want to wait around too long to eat them all! If you do need to store them, do NOT put them in the refrigerator, or else the chocolate may cry when you take it out. (And by cry, we mean that when you shock chocolate by taking it from one temperature very quickly to another temperature, it can bloom.) Chocolate does best stored between 50-60 degrees Fahrenheit and we think our products taste best when enjoyed within a month of purchase.
What is the shelf life on Jo's products?
The shelf life is 9 months from date of production and best by dates are printed on every package. Due to the freshness of our ingredients, we suggest that our candies are eaten right away for the best tasting experience. Proper storage (between 50-60 degrees Fahrenheit) and prompt consumption within 3-4 weeks of receipt is highly recommended.
What's your most popular product?
Year after year, we sell more chocolate covered grahams than anything else. But people always seem to disagree about what our best product is--the Jo's Family is evenly split between Team Graham, Team Salted Caramel, Team Toffee. And our Peppermint Bark is pretty popular too!
Do you do tours?
Unfortunately, we aren't permitted to offer tours to the public.
